Jerlyn and I had 3 weeks of South Asian lectures already and on the first tutorial before it started, something weird happenedto Jerlyn.
So, we got into the room, i put my south asian coursepack on the table, we sat down. Then,
J: "why you buy this?" - pointing to my coursepack.
TY: "what u mean? south asia what."
J: "no why u buy this?"
TY: "HUH? what you mean."
J: "We're taking Southeast Asia"
TY: -preparing to laugh in disbelief. "huuu....h..hahahhahhaha. huh!"
TY: " What you talking about! We are taking South Asian leh!"
J: "o ya ah. I think ....... sot."
TY: - turns to serene and cathleen immediately. "omg u know what, jerlyn asked me why i bought south asian..... sh thought we taking SEA. hahahaha."
C and S : "huh?" -both gave blank looks.
J: -said nothing.
TY: "hahahaha..........."
